A spray tan will take 6-8 hours to develop. During this time the tan will get darker and darker. Please follow our aftercare advice to get the best from your spray tan.
- 1. Whilst your tan is developing please avoid water. Do not wash any part of your body before full development time as this will cause this area to be lighter than the rest.
- Wear loose dark clothing and old underwear, to
avoid marking the developing tan
- The tan solution may rub off onto furniture and clothing whilst developing, so please be careful
- Do not apply any perfumes, deodorant, moisturiser and make-up whilst the tan is developing
- Avoid activities that will make you sweat whilst tan is developing
- You can sleep in your tan, please note that tanning solution may come off onto your sheets. This usually washes off but we cannot guarantee it.
- When showering to wash tan off after development time do not rub or exfoliate. Shower as normal until water runs clear.
- Pat dry after showering
- Use plenty of body moisturiser after showering to keep skin soft and supple, this will prolong tan and stop skin from getting dry.
- Chlorinated water will normally mean decrease the tans longevity, and may mean that the tan becomes 'patchy'.
