For any new customers, or if it’s been over 6 months since you last had the beauty treatment you’re re-booking for, we will book you in for a consultation and allergy test to be carried out with a Therapist, normally around a week before your appointment.
We will advise you at the time of booking whether a new AAT is needed, and if it isn't, a 'screening' text message will be sent to you around a week before your appointment. This message will have a link with information to enable you to determine whether there is a need for you to attend the salon for a new AAT.
At the AAT, a small amount of the formula used in the treatment you will be receiving, will be placed on the inside of your elbow and covered with micropore tape, which will need to be left for 48 hours. If at any point during this time, you notice any signs of a reaction, such as redness, irritation, swelling, inflammation or itching, please contact us, and seek medical advice if needed.
When you attend for your treatment appointment, your Therapist will ask specific questions as part of a consultation, to determine the safety and suitability of the treatment.
