Beauty Appointment Screening

At The Escape, your safety is of our upmost priority. Prior to your appointment, we send a text message to ensure that a new AAT is not needed for your next appointment. A new AAT could be required due to a number of factors, including new medication, a new tattoo, pregnancy, or an illness such as Covid. We therefore ask you to check through the following list, so that you can let us know if a new AAT may be required.

If any of the below apply to you, please call us ASAP on 01623 861141, as we may need to book you in for a new AAT - in all cases this will need to be at least 48 hours before your appointment:

Have you been diagnosed with Covid-19, or suspect you have had Covid-19 since your last chemical beauty appointment?

Are you under 16?

Have you had an allergic reaction to tint or lash treatments (or spray tan products if booked for a spray tan) since your last chemical beauty appointment?

Have you had an allergic reaction to any type of skin tattoo (including henna or permanent makeup)?

Do you have a rash on your face, or any sensitivity, irritation, or damage on the areas booked in for treatments?

Are you new to the salon, or is it the first time you're having the treatments you're booked in for?

Has it been over 6 months since you have had the treatment you are booked in for with us?

Have you had any type of skin tattoo (inc henna and permanent makeup) since your last chemical beauty appointment with us?

Have you had any type of allergic reaction since your last chemical beauty appointment?

Have you become pregnant, started breastfeeding, or began taking any new medication since your last checmical beauty treatment with us?

Are you currently suffering from any of the following:
- active eczema
- psoriasis
- sunburn
- recent scar tissue
- any other issues in the area to be treated (i.e. active hayfever)

Are you currently (or have done within the past month) suffering from any of the following:
- conjunctivitis
- active stye

Do you suffer from any of the following:
- uncontrolled epilepsy
- blood borne viruses
- diabetes
- heamophilia
- blood / circulatory disorder
- cataracts
- glaucoma

Have you ever suffered from skin cancer, or are undergoing any type of cancer treatment?

Have you had any of the following procedure within the timescale specified next to them:
- botox or fillers within the past 2 weeks
- any eye or laser surgery within the past 6 weeks
- permanent makeup application within the past 4 weeks
- eyelift within the past 6 months

THE FOLLOWING ONLY APPLIES IF YOU ARE BOOKED IN FOR A LASH LIFT:

Do you suffer from any of the following:
- eye infection
- folliculitis
- herpes simplex
- dry eyes syndrome
- watering eyes
- Trichotillomania (excessive hair pulling)
- Alopecia (hair loss)
- Blepharitis (swollen eyelids)
